Temperatures above average, thundershowers expected

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the south and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and thundershowers will fall over the coastal and western regions, while the weather will be misty and accompanied with dustry conditions in the eastern and northeastern regions.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to moderate speed in the eastern and northern regions while it will be of changeable direction to southwesterly with a low speed in the other regions and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 31/18, Daraa 33/18, Homs 32/17, Lattakia 32/22, Aleppo 31/16 and Deir Ezzor 33/18.
