Hasaka, SANA – The teams of the General Company of Electricity in Hasaka have managed to repair the damage in the high-voltage power line which feeds the wells of Alouk water plant to the east of Ras al-Ayn city in Hasaka province after they went out of service due to the mortar shelling attacks launched by the Turkish occupation forces on Abu Rasen on Wednesday.
In a statement to SANA reporter, General Director of Hasaka Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar al-Okleh said that at midnight on Wednesday, the Company’s teams managed to repair the high-voltage line between the plant of Alouk water and al-Assadyieh village in Ras al-Ayn countryside, and it was put into service again, in addition to securing the electrical supply for the wells within the plant as they were re-operated normally.
For his part, Director of Hasaka Water Establishment pointed out that 17 wells are currently being operated within the plant, and water is being pumped into al-Himmeh plant to complete the process of supplying the neighborhoods of Hasaka City with drinking water according to the approved rationing program.
Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries of terrorist organizations on Wednesday attacked Abu Rasen town and its vicinity in Hasaka northern countryside with mortar shells, causing a power outage in Alouk plant which supplies Hasaka city and its western countryside with drinking water.
