Sweida, SANA- Barad village narrates tales and stories about its ancient history, which is located in the southwestern countryside of Sweida province and surrounded by ancient houses which are still in good condition.
This archeological village was and still pulse with life that includes monuments dating back to Nabataean, Roman, Byzantine and Arab-Islamic eras.
Archeologist in Antiquities of the region, Kamal al_Shofani told SANA that Barad village is an ancient Nabataean village and located on the road among Salkhad and Busra Sham .
The construction of village is old and the most important prominent of which are ruins of the towers, cemeteries, houses inside it and wells for collecting water.
