Vershinin: meeting of Astana guarantor states to be held in Iran

Moscow, SANA-Russian deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Vershinin, announced on Monday that the meeting of Astana guarantor states on Syria will be held in Iran when health conditions will allow, in light of coronavirus pandemic.

“We have an agreement that the next summit of the guarantor states will be held in Iran as the pandemic conditions would be available,” Sputnik quoted Vershinin as saying in a statement.

He added that the meeting date has not been set until now, but there is a political determination to convene it.
