Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that 40 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria and that 18 patients have recovered while 3 ones have passed away in a continued retreat of the infection toll since 5 days.
The ministry added in a statement that the new infections bring the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 3654, the toll of recoveries to 889 while the mortality to 163.
The first Coronavirus case was registered in the country on March 22nd while the first mortality was reported on the 29th of the same month.
