Damascus, SANA-The daily coronavirus cases decreased in Syria on Monday by nearly half with registering 36 new coronavirus infections during the last 24 hours in comparison with 60 infections last Friday.
Health Ministry announced today that 36 new coronavirus infections were registered in Syria and that 16 patients have recovered while 2 cases have passed away.
The Ministry said in a statement to SANA that the toll of coronavirus infections that were registered in the country mounted to 3576, of which 858 patients have recovered while 157 ones have passed away.
The first Coronavirus case in Syria was registered on March 22nd, while the first mortality was reported a week later.
