Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will slightly drop, yet they will remain from 4 to 7 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak opportunity for showers in different regions, particularly in the southwestern regions, while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/23, Daraa 38/22, Homs 38/22, Lattakia 32/23, Aleppo 38/22 and Deir Ezzor 41/26.
