Damascus, SANA- Temperatures tend to rise to become from 6 to 9 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by subtropical high air pressure currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general, while the weather will be misty and accompanied with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (semi-desert) regions.
The wind will be of changeable direction to northwesterly with a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 42/24, Homs 42/23, Hasaka 46/26, Lattakia 35/25, Aleppo 43/25 and Deir Ezzor 45/29.
