Arab Parliamentary Union condemns repeated attacks of the Turkish regime and terrorists against Syrian people

Beirut, SANA-The Arab Parliamentary Union strongly condemned the inhuman practices and repeated attacks committed by the Turkish regime and its terrorist groups against the Syrian people and lands.

“The Arab Parliamentary Union follows, with big concern, the inhuman acts perpetrated by Turkey and the terrorist groups supported by it against the brotherly Syrian Arab people and the repeated attacks on Syrian lands under false and multiple pretexts that only indicate a desire for an unjustified blatant aggression”, the union said in a statement on Thursday.

The Union called on the Turkish regime to “respect the rights of neighbors and the relations that bind Turkey with the Arab world, and the Union reminds it that those practices will not lead to stability in the region, but to more conflicts.”

It called on the international community and the United Nations to intervene urgently to put an end to the flagrant violations committed by the Turkish regime against” the human being” and the territories of a neighbouring sovereign state, and this would threaten international peace and security, calling on “Arab councils and parliaments to issue statements expressing rejection of the attack on any Arab brotherly country by any party or any other country.”

The Arab Parliamentary Union affirmed its “complete standing by brotherly Syria in defending its sovereignty and its citizens,” expressing its complete confidence that it is able to defend its lands and sovereignty.
