Geneva, SANA -The Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, announced that the meetings of the Committee of Discussing the constitution are expected to be resumed in Geneva tomorrow or after tomorrow.
Sputnik news agency quoted Lavrentiev as saying on Wednesday that the infection of a number of the participant delegations with the Corona virus “led to some amendments in the work of the committee,”
He added “Until today, it was not clear whether the consultations would continue or not “ and UN envoy for Syria ,Geir Pedersen, told us that the results of the tests made by the Swiss doctors showed that there is no risk to the health of the participants in the consultations and they can continue.”
He added “Therefore, agreement has been made to continue the consultations tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.”
