Washington, SANA- Protestors against racism burned the American flag outside White House on Saturday just moments after the US President Donald Trump finished delivering a speech on the Independence Day Celebration.
A video posted on the Hill website showed some demonstrators burning the US flag outside the White House while others were chanting slogans against slavery, genocide and war such as “America was never great.”
The Hill website indicated that these demonstrations came in the framework of protests against the brutality and racism of the police.
Some of those protests have featured calls to tear down Confederate statues or monuments that commemorate figures who supported slavery.
In the same context, protesters, mostly of African origin, organized a demonstration at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta city in the US State of Georgia yesterday, demanding the removal of a huge sculpture symbolizing the confederation.
