Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become below average by 2 to 4 degrees in most areas, yet they will remain around average in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions as the country is affected by low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and there will be an opportunity for showers over the northwestern, the coastal and the southwestern regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with active gusts whose speed exceeds 77km per hour especially in the central and southern regions, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/18, Daraa 29/18, Homs 26/18, Lattakia 25/22, Aleppo 31/19 and Deir Ezzor 37/22.
