Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Thursday that a new coronavirus case was registered in Damascus countryside for a person who works as a driver on Syria-Jordan border road, raising the total infections to 124.

The Ministry added in a statement that total number of coronavirus infections reached at 124 until today, 53 of them have recovered and 6 patients have died.

The first case of coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22^nd,2020.
