2.2 magnitude earthquake registered off the coast of Syria

Damascus, SANA_ The National Center for Seismic Monitoring registered a 2.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale off the Syrian coast on Friday.

Through a statement, the Center reported that the earthquake occurred at 2:59 p.m. (local time) about 41 kilometers northwest of the coastal city of Lattakia.

On May 12, an earthquake of 2.2 degrees on the Richter scale has been registered about 39 kilometers north of Lattakia.
