Damascus, SANA- A light earthquake of 2.2 on Richter magnitude scale took place on Tuesday near the Syrian coast.
The National Center for earthquakes said in a statement that a light earthquake of 2.2 on Richter magnitude scale took place at 20.23 p.m. near the Syrian coast, 39 km west of Lattakia in the Mediterranean.
