Christian denominations in Syria that follow Eastern calendar celebrate Easter

Governorates, SANA_ Christian denominations in Syria that follow the Eastern calendar on Sunday celebrated Easter (the resurrection of Jesus Christ) by holding prayers and masses in the presence of clergymen only.

The masses and prayers were performed in churches across Syrian provinces in the absence of worshipers within the precautionary measures adopted by the government to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Sermons spoke about the sublime values of Easter and its implications represented by love, fraternity and tolerance.

Masses and prayers were broadcast through the websites and pages of the churches on social media.
