Geneva, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Geneva on Monday the situation in Syria and the relations between Russia and the international organization.
Russia Today website quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Monday that “During the talks, viewpoints were exchanged on the most pressing issues on the international agenda including the situation in Syria.”
Other issues of mutual interest were on the table during the meeting as the two sides affirmed adherence to the central role of the UN in the international issues.
