Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif asserted that combating terrorism in Idleb should continue and all the previous agreements reached with regard to the de-escalation zone there should be implemented so as the Syrian Government would be able to provide security to its citizens.
In a statement to Iranian Tasnim News Agency, Zarif said “We are ready to hold talks and discuss the situation in Idleb with different parties,” indicating that a meeting will be held within the track of Astana process in the near future to discuss this issue.
On the other hand, Zarif affirmed that the U.S. administration should realize that the policy of exerting maximum pressures on Iran is doomed to failure.
