Havana, SANA- The Cuban Communist Party has renewed its standing by Syria in its war against terrorism till eradicating it completely.
Deputy Director of International Relations for the Cuban Communist Party Central Committee, Ángel Arzuaga Reyes affirmed that Syria is appreciated by all the progressive powers in the world because it is launching a war against terrorism and its backers, on top the international imperialism and it has been achieving successive victories thanks to the heroism and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
Reyes remarks came during a meeting with Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba Idris Mayya at the Committee’s headquarters on Wednesday.
Ambassador Mayya, for his part, reviewed the latest developments in Syria, particularly the advancement and victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism in the face of terrorism.
Mayya noted that the army operations in the provinces of Aleppo and Idleb comes in response to the calls by the citizens and in retaliation to the systematic crimes committed by terrorists, asserting that Syria will continue to fight terrorism till eliminating it.
Talks during the meeting dealt with many other issues of mutual concern.
