Putin, Obama discuss issues of Syria, Ukraine and Iran on sidelines of APEC summit

Moscow, SANA – Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and President Barack Obama of the United States discussed crisis in Syria, Ukraine and Iran’s nuclear file on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing.

RT website quoted Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that “Putin and Obama continue communicating on the sidelines of the forum.”

Russian media reported that the two presidents exchanged “brief talk” while waiting for a photo session for APEC summit participants at the Water Cube aquatic center in the Beijing Olympic Village.

Beijing is hosting APEC summit which wraps up its activities on Tuesday.The summit aimed at pushing forward the global economic integration process and boosting comprehensive economic reform and development.
