Spain rejects Turkish offensive on Syrian territories

Madrid, SANA- Acting Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles affirmed her country’s rejection of the Turkish offensive against the Syrian territories.

AFP News Agency said that in an interview with the Spanish state T.V “TVE” last night, Margarita warned against the consequences of the military escalation by the Turkish regime in the region, indicating that the permanent goal of her country is to preserve peace and security.

The five European member states at the International Security Council, namely “France, Germany, Belgium, Britain and Poland last Thursday demanded the Turkish regime to stop it offensive against the Syrian territories.

They indicated that this aggression threatens to “facilitate the emergence of Daesh (ISIS) terrorist organization again which poses a threat to the regional, international and European security.”
