Algiers, SANA _ Activities of the 28th General Assemblyof The Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) kicked off in Algiers on Tuesday with the participation of Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) and 15 news agencies from Mediterranean countries .
The two-day meetings will discuss several issues related to the situation of the Alliance and its membership in addition to a workshop on “News agencies and challenges of the times .. the opportunity to expand as a global media”and the use of videos in news agencies and comparing Mediterranean approaches..
AMAN comprises Syria, Algeria, Egypt, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Palestine, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Mauritania, Morocco and Turkey.
The Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) aims to exchange information, promote dialogue, support development and cooperation among Mediterranean news agencies.
