Russian and European media delegation visits makeshift center for displaced people from Rukban camp

Homs, SANA – A media delegation representing Russian and European media outlets on Thursday visited the makeshift center in the Bayadha district in Homs, which is home to hundreds of displaced people who had come from Rukban camp in the Tanf area on Syrian-Jordanian border, where they had suffered difficult humanitarian circumstances because of their siege by the US occupation forces and their terrorists mercenaries in the camp.

The media delegation was briefed on the services provided by the Syrian state and civilian organizations at the makeshift centers as to make them return to their areas liberated by the Syrian Arab Army of Terrorism.

In addition, the media delegation visited Um Zunar Church in the Hamidya neighborhood in downtown Homs, listening to the Archbishop of Homs, Hama and Tartous for the Orthodox Syriacs, Msgr. Selwanos Boutros Alnemeh, a comprehensive overview of the history of the Church and the extent of destruction perpetrated by terrorist groups.
