Syrian team wins 8 medals in Western Asia Junior Wrestling Championship

Beirut, SANA – The Syrian team participating in the Western Asia Junior Wrestling Championship hosted in Lebanon won a total of eight medals in freestyle wrestling, with the team’s haul consisting of one gold, four silver, and three bronze medals.

The gold medal was won by wrestler Mohammad Bara’a al-Tayyan in the 60kg event, and the silver medals were won by Ahmad Naji in the 74kg event, Ahmad Bakri in the 84kg event, Ahmad al-Hams in the 96kg event, and Bilal al-Homsi in the 120kg event.

The bronze medals were won by Abdelfattah Benni al-Marjeh in the 50kg event, Mohammad Anas al-Mnajjed in the 55kg event, and Muhiddin Mardini in the 66kg event.
