Two medals,three certificates of appreciation for Syria at International Mathematical Olympiad in Britain

Damascus, SANA- The Syrian team won two medals; one silver ,and one bronze, and three certificates of appreciation during the International Mathematical Olympiad which was held in Britain.

A total of 112 countries participated in the competitions of the International Mathematical Olympiad which ended on Friday.

The Excellence and Creativity Commission said in statement of which SANA received a copy on Saturday that the students Ahmad Rajab Khamis and Mohammed Bashir al-Hafi , who are in Secondary School (high school), won the silver and bronze medals respectively.

The Students Abdulkarim al-Sayied Ramadan, Majd Hani Naser and Mohammed Fouad al-Moueen have each earned a certificate of appreciation.
