Damascus, SANA_ The Syrian team has won 3 silver, two bronze medals and 4 certificates of appreciation at The Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO) organized online by Mexico last April 27 with the participation of 43 states.
The Excellence and Creativity Commission said in a statement that this result is the best in the history of participation of Syrian teams in this Olympiad, adding that the classification of Syria in these competitions has advanced to occupy 21st place.
The International Mathematical Olympiad is scheduled to be held in Great Britain next July.
