Beirut, SANA-Hezbollah Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, said that the proclamation of US President Donald Trump regarding the occupied Syrian Golan represents a scorn and contempt for the Arab and Islamic world and all international resolutions which affirm that Golan is a Syrian territory occupied by the Israeli enemy.
“Trump continues its contempt for the international law and resolutions of the international community in service for the interests of the Israeli occupation entity,” Nasrallah added in a speech on Tuesday.
He stressed that the proclamation indicates disability of the international institutions to protect any right of the peoples, including the restoration of an occupied land, and they stop enough at condemnations.
Nasrallah went on to say that the silence of the international community, particularly the Arab and Islamic worlds, on Trump’s announcement Jerusalem as a capital for the occupation entity made him take the risk for his stance regarding the Golan.
