Moscow, SANA_ Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed firmness of his country’s position in fighting terrorism in Syria until it is completely eradicated.
A statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday said that Lavrov, during a telephone conversation with Turkish counterpart Mouloud Jawish oglu, reviewed the situation in Syria, the process of settling crisis in it and the efforts exerted regarding the Astana process.
There was an emphasis on the need to continue fighting terrorism and restoring security and stability to all regions in Syria, the statement added.
