Abdollahian, receiving Russian Ambassador to Iran Levan Dzhagaryan in Tehran, affirmed the necessity of working to support the security of the region.
“The Zionist entity’s military and provocative actions and its assaults against the Syrian territories are serious threats against the regional security and stability,” he said.
Abdollahian referred to the positive outcomes of forming a joint parliamentary committee between Iran and Russia.
