Damascus, SANA- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem met on Monday the newly-appointed Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Yefimov.
Minister al-Moallem received from Yefimov a copy of his credentials as an Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Syria.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations and means to enhance and develop cooperation in economic, social, political and other fields as well as the continuation of fighting terrorism where developments of the situation in regional and international arenas proved the importance of this partnership and need to push it forward for the benefit of the two friendly peoples and countries.
