Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday stressed that the US continues to violate the basic resolutions of the Security Council on Syria.
In a statement to Russian Sputnik Agency, Lavrov said “The solution to the illegitimate and armed presence of the US in Syria might be difficult.”
“Washington continually puts new conditions that violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria despite of that these principles are mentioned by the main resolutions of the Security Council,” Lavrov affirmed.
He added “Let’s see what the result of leaving Syria which was announced by US President Donald Trump will be.”
Last Wednesday, the White House announced that beginning of the withdrawal of the illegitimate forces from Syria.
