12-truck aid convoy sent to Old Aleppo

Aleppo, SANA-Aleppo governorate, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent organization (SARC) and the United Nations office for coordination of humanitarian efforts, sent a humanitarian aid convoy of 12 trucks laden with relief, food and health aid and furniture to neighborhoods in Old Aleppo.

The aid is headed to the families in Old Aleppo neighborhoods.

Dr. Abdul-Ghani Kassab, member of the executive office of Aleppo Governorate’s Council for social affairs told SANA that the food aid suffices 3,000 families, and the children’s food 7, 500 children, adding that nearly 43, 000 patients can benefit from the sent medicine.

The convoy is part of the government’s efforts to provide humanitarian aid for citizens in Aleppo province, he added.
