Hasaka, SANA- Scores gathered in Qamishli city on Sunday to denounce the illegal presence of US and Turkish troops on the Syrian territories which constitute a breach of international laws and agreements and an attempt to undermine national unity.
The protesters condemned the US and Turkish interference in the Syrian internal affairs and the attempts to strike national unity in the eastern region, denouncing the visit of former French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner which they considered a ‘desecration of al-Jazira’s land.’
Participants voiced outrage over Kouchner’s visit, calling for closing the ranks against US and Turkish occupation of Syrian territories and voicing support for the Syrian army and state.
