Astana, SANA _ The second day of Astana 11^th meeting on Syria continued  on Thursday in the Kazakh capital of Astana.

The Russian delegation headed by Russian President’s Special Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentiev held a meeting with the Iranian delegation headed by Senior Assistant to Iranian Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Hussein Jabri Ansari.

The meeting aims at completing consultations between the Russian and Iranian sides.

On Wednesday, the 11th round of Astana meeting on Syria kicked off at the Kazakh capital with the participation of the Syrian Arab Republic’s delegation headed by Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, and other delegations.
