Provinces, SANA – Units of the armed forces continued on Tuesday military operations against the terrorist organizations across the country, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
An army unit killed a number of members of the terrorist organization of the Islamic State (ISIS) and injured others in Hweijet Sakr in the northern part of Deir Ezzor city, northeastern Syria, a source in the province said.
SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that the operation also resulted in destroying a number of the terrorists’ weapons and vehicles.
Other army units, the source added, destroyed ISIS terrorists’ dens and gatherings in the neighborhoods of al-Sina’a, al-Jbeila, al-Hweiqa and al-Roshdiyeh, killing many of them and injuring others.
Another army unit carried out an operation against dens and gatherings of terrorists affiliated to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in al-Sheikh Yasin neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
A source in the northeastern province told SANA reporter that the operation left a number of ISIS terrorists dead and wounded, in addition to destroying a car equipped with a heavy machine gun which they were using.
Hamed Shakour and Ghazi Mohammad Ghadir were identified among the dead terrorists, the source noted.
In the same context, army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Daraa al-Mahtta, in the surrounding area of Bilal al-Habashi Mosque in Daraa al-Balad and on the road to the west of Atman village in the countryside of Daraa southern province, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
A military source said the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Hara, Saida, and Daraa al-Balad, leaving a number of them dead.
In Quneitra, large numbers of terrorists were killed and injured as the army targeted their gatherings and hideouts in several areas in the countryside of the province
Units of the armed forces targeted a gathering of terrorists and destroy their vehicles and a car loaded with weaponry and ammunition in the villages of al-Khawaled and Um Batina, leaving many terrorists dead and wounded.
A military source told SANA that army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Tiyha town, Tal Mas’hara, Um Batina, al-Douha, the area between Um al-Batina and Tal Kroum Jaba, Tal al-Mal, and the agricultural researches center, killing and injuring several terrorists.
The source added that the army repelled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate Tal Bazaq and Tal Kroum Jaba, which resulted in the death of several of terrorists and the injuring of others.
Meanwhile, an army unit dismantled two explosive devices planted by terrorists on the road of al-Zara town which leads to the electricity generation plant in the town.
A source at Hama Police Command told SANA reporter that terrorists planted two explosive devices whose weights range between 50 and 75 kgs on the roadside leading to al-Zara village towards the electricity generation plant in the southern countryside of Hama central province.
The army killed and injured dozens of terrorists and destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in Kifr Zeita, al-Latamna, Maarkaba and Salba in Hama countryside.
A military source told SANA reporter that the army targeted terrorists’ hideouts in the areas of Jobar, Misraba and Harasta in Damascus Countryside and killed a number of terrorists, among them were Bilal al-Ameri from Saudi Arabia, al-Habib Bu Tayel al-Barhomi and Fahd al-Dousi from Tunisia and Mohammad al-Zawi from Libya.
The army also destroyed dens of terrorists in Ein Tarma al-Balad, Douma, al-Qasimyeh, al-Baharyeh, and al-Zamanyeh, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition. Terrorist Sami Jawad from Libya was identified among the dead.
Meanwhile, the army pursued terrorist groups in Qara and al-Mishirfe in al-Qalamoun and killed and injured a number of the groups’ members.
A military source told SANA that the army targeted and destroyed terrorists’ concentrations in Hreitan, Kifr Kar, Handarat, al-Wadihi, Masaken Hanano, Aleppo’s old city, Qadi Askar,, Bani Zaid, al-Rashideen, al-Rab’a, al-Kastillo, hayyan, tal Jibn, al-Mansoura, al-Ramoseh, Salah Eddin, and Sevat in Aleppo and its countryside.
Army units foiled an attempt by terrorists to infiltrate from al-Waer neighborhood towards the surrounding farms in the city of Homs, killing and injuring scores of them, according to a military source.
SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that other army units targeted dens and gatherings of terrorists in the area surrounding the fairground and in other areas in the same neighborhood.
More dens and gatherings of terrorists were targeted in Kafr Laha and Taldao in al-Houleh area and in Zleil Khmam and al-Msheirfeh al-Shamaliyeh in the eastern countryside of the central province of Homs, leaving several of the terrorists dead and wounded.
Army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injure others in the village of Rahoum and destroyed a vehicle along with the terrorists on board in the village of Oum al-Reesh in Homs’ eastern countryside.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns in Ein Hassan, al-Rastan, jarouh, Jabab, Ounq al-Hawa and Ghazila in Homs countryside, dozens of terrorists were killed or injured in the process.
Army units targeted concentrations and hideouts of terrorists in Bannesh, Saraqeb, the surroundings of al-Daif valley, Maaret al-Nu’man, Kureen, Maaret al-Na’san, Sarmin, and Jedar Bakfaloun in Idleb countryside, eliminating many terrorists and destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
Other units targeted terrorists’ gathering in Khan al-Sabil in Idleb countryside, eliminating many them including a number of non-Syrians and destroying vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
Meanwhile, other army units kill a number of terrorists and destroy their equipment in Talab, al-Bouati and the area surrounding Abu Dhour Airport in Idleb countryside.
The army killed dozens of terrorists and destroyed an armored vehicle in Khan Sheikhoun in Idleb countryside.
