Syrians in occupied Golan reiterate rejection of so-called “local councils’ elections”

Quneitra, occupied Golan, SANA- Syrians in occupied Syrian Golan reiterated rejection of the schemes of the Israeli occupation entity which are represented in holding elections of the so-called “local councils”, affirming determination to continue resistance against occupation and their adherence to their Syrian Arab identity.

During rallies held on Saturday inside the villages of occupied Syrian Golan, Syrians in Golan denounced the elections due to be held at the end of the current month.

They asserted that they will continue to work on foiling this project which came after the occupation used all possible ways to spread Judaization and all of them have failed.

They expressed adherence to their Syrian national identity and their rejection of this dangerous plot, affirming that liberating Golan from occupation will be achieved no matter how long it takes.

Syrian citizen Hamad Sabra said that Syrians in Golan reject such elections, saying “We are Syrians and we belong to our homeland Syria, and we don’t accept these elections as we consider them null and void.”

For his part, citizen Hael Masoud said “What is called (local councils’ elections) which the occupation authorities seek to hold is a dangerous project and we affirm that we will remain Syrian Arabs in the occupied Syrian Golan which will be liberated by the Syrian Arab Army sooner or later.”
