Provinces, SANA_ Army units on Sunday continued their mop-up operations against the armed terrorist groups across the country.
Army units repelled terrorists who tried to infiltrate towards Jebb al-Jarrah village in the countryside of Homs, inflicting losses upon them and destroying the vehicles they were using, according to a military source.
Other units, the source told SANA reporter, targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Rastan, Um Sahreej, Mnoukh, al-Msheirfeh and Hendawi in the countryside of the central province.
Army units killed a number of terrorists and wounded others and destroyed several of their vehicles in operations that targeted their gatherings and dens in Um Sharshouh, al-Hilaliyeh, al-Rastan, Deir Foul, Arshouneh and al-Faoshawissh in the countryside and in al-Waer neighborhood in the city.
The army targeted a den for terrorists in al-S’eileh area in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, leaving the terrorists inside it dead and wounded, a military source said.
The source told SAANA reporter that the operation also resulted in the destruction of a large quantity of weapons and ammunition which were inside the den.
Army units also killed a large number of terrorists and wounded more others after targeting their gatherings in the towns of Nemer and Tal al-Mahs and on Deir al-Adas-Ghabagheb road, according to the source.
Army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Hayan, eastern Attiyarah, surrounding Sifan, al-Shkair, Bab al-Hadid, Bani Zaid, Bshekwai, Ma’aret al-Artik in Aleppo and its countryside, leaving a number of them killed and wounded.
The source added that Army units destroyed a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns with all terrorists inside them in Kroum Azizia, Sheikh Lotfy, Dahret Abed Rabbo, al-Lairanmoun, al-Mansoura, Haritan, Orm, Ritan, Qattan and eastern roundabout of the Jandoul and Kfar Hamra in Aleppo and its countryside.
A military source said that army units targeted a terrorists’ den near Sarqeb town in Idleb countryside, eliminating a number of them.
Some of the killed terrorists are linked to Al-Nusra-Front and Jund al-Aqsa terrorist organizations.
Ammar Mostafa Jabour was identified among the killed.
A warehouse of home made hell cannon” and 17 vehicles, some equipped with DShK (Dushka) machineguns were destroyed.
