Weapons and ammo left behind by terrorists in Hama, Sweida and Deir Ezzor discovered

Damascus Countryside, SANA – The authorities uncovered large amounts of weapons and ammo, some of it Western-made missiles, that had been left behind by terrorists in the countryside of Hama, Deir Ezzor and Sweida.

SANA’s reporter said that the weapons and ammo were found during the authorities’ work to secure the areas cleansed from terrorism in the northern countryside of Hama, the eastern countryside of Sweida, and the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in order to dismantle IEDs.

The seized weapons and munitions included assault rifles, medium and heavy machineguns, night-vision binoculars, Western-made missiles, FAL sniper rifles, RPG launchers, assorted rocket and artillery shells, large amounts of various types of ammo, machinegun tripods, and rocket launching pads.
