Lavrov discusses latest developments in Syria with Jordanian counterpart

Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi in a phone call on Sunday the latest developments of the situations in Syria and the issue of the return of the displaced Syrians to their homes and towns after restoring security and stability to them.

Russia Today website quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement after the phone call that the two ministers tackled in details the latest developments of the situations in Syria along with focusing on implementing the steps related to the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland including those who are staying in the area near the Jordanian-Syrian borders.

Thousands of the displaced Syrians return from Lebanon and Jordan as Nassib border crossing on the Jordanian borders last month received hundreds of the displaced Syrians from Jordan after the facilitations provided by the authorities concerned and Daraa Governorate.
