Syria’s Abu Sa’ada raises national flag at Aragats peak in Armenia

Sweida, SANA-Syrian pharmacist Firas Abu Sa’ada succeeded to climb the second highest mountain peak in Armenia “Aragats” at 4,091 meters and raised the Syrian national flag there.

“Climbing the second highest peak in Armenia has taken nearly 7 hours,” Anu Sa’ada told SANA reporter through telephone, adding that this trip came upon his desire to make people know more about Syria and its civilization.

Mount Aragats, considered the highest peak in the South Caucasus at 4,091 meters, has become a permanent home for mountaineers.
