Damascus, SANA- The number of countries that have confirmed their participation in the 60th edition of Damascus International Fair reached 46 Arab and foreign countries, Director of General Establishment for Exhibitions and International Markets, Fares Kartli said.
Kartli added that the 60th edition will be distinguished in terms of the number of international participants and the diversity of sectors and exhibits.
The reserved area will cover 90000 square meters including the covered and outdoor areas.
On the measures taken to facilitate the visitors’ entry, Kartli said that 11 doors were allocated for the entry, adding that centers of selling tickets will be set later. An area of 33000 square meters was allocated as a parking garage for public vehicles.
The Damascus Fairground City includes 6 large international pavilions, 8 small international ones, 4 small national pavilions, the Syrian national pavilion, a market for sale and a market for handicrafts and service pavilions with outdoor areas.
The 60th edition of the Damascus International Fair is due to be held on September 6 until 15, 2018.
