Idleb, SANA- The popular committees, in cooperation with the locals, foiled an attack launched by the Jabhat al-Nusra-affiliated terrorist groups on the besieged towns of al-Fouaa and Kefraya in Idleb northern countryside.
Civil sources told SANA that the popular committees on Sunday engaged in violent clashes with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra who infiltrated from the direction of Brouma village on the outskirts of Kefraya and al-Fouaa towns.
The sources added that the attack was foiled and a number of terrorists were killed or injured as their equipment were destroyed in ambushes by the committees which are defending the towns, in addition to detonating a number of explosive devices.
