Ten civilians injured in terrorist attacks with mortar shells on Damascus neighborhoods

Damascus, SANA – Ten civilians were injured on Wednesday in terrorist attacks with mortar shells on several neighborhoods in Damascus city.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that a mortar shell fell on the school of Ghassan Abboud in al-Adawi neighborhood, injuring four civilians and causing material damage in the area.

The source indicated that another mortar round fell near the Industrial Bank in al-Firdous area, injuring two civilians and causing material damage to six cars.

Meanwhile, another mortar shell landed on the roof of the Municipality Building in al-Sab’a Bahrat square, causing material damage only.

Three shells fell near al-Iman Mosque, in Jul Jammal Street, and Usama Bin Zaid Street in al-Mazra’a neighborhood, injuring four civilians and damaging three homes and four cars.

Three more shells fell behind al-Azbakiye gas station, in Murshed Khater Street in al-Abasiyeen area, and in Ein al-Kersh neighborhood, damaging one home and a number of cars.

One rocket shell struck a house in the 5th Avenue in al-Muhajireen neighborhood, causing significant material damage.
