Damascus, SANA-Christian clergymen in Damascus and its countryside called for holding prayers and fasting for peace in Syria at all churches.

The clergymen said in a statement that prayers will be held alternately at the churches, with prayers held every day at a different church starting Monday for a whole month.

The first prayer is to be held Monday 06:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bab Sharqi in Damascus, with joint prays held simultaneously at all churches every Sunday.
