Guterres calls for UNSC member states to avoid escalation after Western aggression on Syria

New York, SANA – UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called upon UN Security Council member states to show restraint and to avoid any acts that could escalate the situation hours after the US-British-French aggression on Syria.

“I urge all member states to show restraint in these dangerous circumstances and to avoid any acts that could escalate the situation and worsen the suffering of the Syrian people.” Guterres said in a statement.
