OPCW: A fact-finding team will start investigation into alleged chemical attack in Douma next Saturday

The Hague, SANA – The Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) said that a team of international chemical weapons’ experts is heading to Syria in order to investigate into the alleged use of chemical weapons in Douma city in Damascus Countryside.

The OPCW spokesperson said that the organization has sent a fact-finding team to Syria, and it will start its mission on Saturday, April 14th.

Earlier today, a source at the Syrian Foreign Ministry reaffirmed willingness to fully cooperate with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and deliver on the obligations consequent to its joining the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
