Kiev, SANA –Syrian expatriate Daniel Maher Nosair won a gold medal at the Ukraine Kickboxing Championship held in Vinnytsia.
Nosair ranked first in the 56-kilogram category,
and raised the Syrian flag in this international event.
The 15-year-old athlete has the Ukrainian citizenship and began his career at the age of seven. He receives support from the Syrian community in Ukraine, which helped him win several medals.
