A child injured, material damage caused due to shelling attacks in Damascus

Damascus, SANA- A child was injured on Wednesday when armed groups renewed breaching the de-escalation zone agreement in Eastern Ghouta, targeting with shells residential areas in Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that the armed groups fired two rocket shells on Esh al-Warwar neighborhood, injuring a child and causing material damage to properties.

The armed groups also fired two other shells on al-Abassiyeen area causing only material damage, the source added.

SANA’s reporter said that Units of the Syrian Arab Army responded to the attacks by striking the areas from which the shells were launched, destroying rocket launching pads and inflicting heavy losses upon the armed groups.
