“Peace from Phoenix” Classic Dance held in Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – The annual celebration of the school “We Dance to Live” was held on Thursday at the stage of Dar al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia, under the name of “Peace from Phoenix: Peace on Syria.”

In the celebration, two hours of Classic and Latin dance were performed by 100 students aged between 3 and 30, of which dances of waltz, chacha, salsa and zumba, hip hop, Indian Dance, Armenian as well dances for children.

School Founder Sami Nusair said that the school is trying to offer a beautiful touch to society and some kind of cultural and artistic balance during the war waged on Syria and the difficulties faced by the Syrian people, pointing out that Syria’s ancient civilization is the one that created dance in the world.
