Sweida, SANA – Medical Care Charitable Association, in coordination with al-Baath Arab
Socialist Party branch and al-Thawra neighborhood committee, launched a medical day at
Hussein Mershed School in Sweida.
Nine volunteer doctors offered free medical examinations and distributed the needed
medicine for patients.
The medical day also included a symposium about the dangers of improper intake of
antibiotics and their difference from anti-inflammatory medicine.
Chairman of the Association’s board of directors Jamal Masoud told SANA’s reporter
that this free medical day aims at helping patients in need, spreading health
awareness, and strengthening the culture of volunteering.
